Rudy Leon Saunders

Rudy L. Saunders, a beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, in his home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on August 17, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

​Rudy was the son of the late Haskell L. Saunders and Opal L. Saunders of Dibble, Oklahoma.

​He embraced the outdoors throughout his life, enjoying fishing and hunting. He was known for his dedication to his work, having spent time working on a dairy farm and later pursuing his talents in craftsmanship by painting cars. 

Rudy had many hobbies and interests that enriched his life.

​Rudy was preceded in death by his father, Haskell Leon Saunders; his mother, Opal Lee Saunders; his sister, Linda Lee Montague; and his son, Haskell Leon Jr. Saunders.

​He is survived by his daughter and her husband, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind many cherished family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
