Russell-Stout, Jr.-Obituary

Russell Stout, Jr.

Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

I just heard of my uncles passing. so sad . I remember as a kid the stories he'd tell of his travels and the wild things that he gave to my grandparents from his many journeys. RIP

Russell was a great professor at American University. Over the past 45 years, I have often recalled his insights and wisdom. Quite frankly, my life was enriched by my time in his classroom.

He was my brother and we both shared similar experiences from our military careers. We were able to meet in different countries around the globe, and in many states in the USA. Thailand, Germany, and Bolivia will always stand out by what we both witnessed and shared. As the lyrics of the Air Force service song say: "Off we go into the wild blue sky, flying high into the air..." Russ is there in peace.

Isabel, I'm thinking of you sweet lady.

Isabel, our prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. May wonderful memories sustain you. Lynne Brewer Peer (Page '66)

A long twisted road you have traveled, touching many continents, touching many more lives. Rest in peace knowing in the end, you were loved.
