Thoughts and prayers to Russell's family. I met Russell when he came to us as his primary care doctor in Beckley Wv. Very kind man. He will be missed.

Dear Helen and family, I am incredibly shocked and saddened to learn of Rusty’s passing. What a great guy and friend he was and he will truly be missed by me. But I sure plan on seeing him again one day.

Very sorry to hear this news. It was a privilege to know Russ. Lora and I admired him very much. He did so much for others. Condolences to Helen and the rest of his family.

My heart is saddened by the loss of my dear friend, Russ. With Helen arranging our campaign schedule, we covered two counties on foot from March till November to win our first election.
It was a pleasure to serve with him in the state legislature. He served with dignity and integrity. West Virginia lost a great servant of the people.
