In the 90s , Ruth was a regular at NW Audubon meetings and also worked in many projects and field trips. I enjoyed knowing her.

Ruth was one of my Mom's (Iola Schulz) nurses while she was at Parkview Home in Freeport. She was kind enough to arrange a trip for Mom and I to go see her Newfies! Not an easy task...Mom was in a wheelchair! It was a great day; the dogs were gentle giants, and I have memorable photos! I will always remember Ruth, and her kindness to my Mom!
