I am so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. She had such a wonderful life, she would tell me stories of her youth. Traveling by train to places. Such an interesting woman. Sometimes we were advisories but always friends. So very sorry for your loss

So sorry to hear about Ruth, who passed almost a year after my mother. She was a terrific friend to my mother Iola and Ruth would often transport her to my sister's place in NH when driving down to see Martha for the Holidays.

Dear Martha and Family, I was deeply saddened to read about Ruth's passing in the Chronicle this week. I remember you and your Mom from basketball days at BHS. We lost contact but we were reacquainted when we both moved to the NEK. I enjoyed working with her at Frontier. She was such a wonderful caregiver to all the pets there, especially the cats/kittens. I was in the middle of the 2000 Civil Union legislative debate at the time, and remember seeing Ruth's steady, welcome gaze at one of the pubic hearings.
