Ruth Ann Hunt 79, of Fallon, Nevada passed on from life peacefully on August 10, 2025. Born on October 4, 1945 in Wyoming, Pennsylvania she lived a full a joyful life centered around family, humor, and adventure.She was married to her beloved husband, Marvin Hunt, for 34 wonderful years. Together, they shared many travels and camping trips (with their fancy camper) across the country, making memories that will be cherished forever.Ruth was a devoted mother to 3 beautiful daughters,Kelly (Rob) Richardson, the late Erin O’Brien and Tracy (Brandon) Crouse. She was a proud grandmother to Gary Richardson, Nathan (Meghan) Richardson, Justin (Tiffany) O’Brien, Jordan (Autumn) Wilson, Christopher (Alania) Murray, Shawn (Angelia) Davis, Brittany (Tyler) Durham, and Alexis (Alden Painter) Crouse. Her love extended to her sixteen great-grandchildren: Liam, Bellamy, Owen, Eliana, Jace, Mya, Kaden, Malachi, Aaliyah, Tavin, Baylee, Brinley, Zuri, Novella, Rusti and Braxton.Ruth dedicated part of her life caring for others as a LPN for 20 plus years, before ultimately retiring from Spencers Gifts in 2007 after over 25 years. Her work ethic, sense of humor, and comforting warmth left a lasting impression on those who got to work with her.A lifelong fan of Phil Collins, her love for him was unmatched. Since the beginning of Genesis, he had her heart! She could always be found with Diet Coke on her side table and crochet needles in her hand enjoying her days.She is preceded in death by her daughter Erin O’Brien; her parents, George and Idella Richards; sister Gloria English; brother George Richards; and her cherished beagle of 13 years, Bankie.Ruth will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Her love, strength, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those she touched.A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In honor of Ruth, the family invites you to enjoy a Diet Coke and play a Phil song- just as she would have liked.
