Ruth Diane Metcalf Scrivner

My aunt Ruth was a beautiful and kind lady. She always had a smile. I remember the Christmases that we all spent at grandmother and granddaddy Metcalf‘s house all sitting around looking at pictures on a slide projector. It was a wonderful time. I remember the times duck hunting with uncle Dana. I thank God I’ll get to see them both again.

Ruth was part of the Student Services gang at Sampson Community College. More than co-workers, we were part of the SCC Family and had many fun times together. Rest in peace my friend !!!

I had the privilege of working with Ruth in the financial aid office at Cape Fear Community College. Ruth was an absolute joy; never an unkind word and always a smile. May she rest in peace.
