I only recently learned that our beloved Woody has gained his wings and rests with The Lord. My heart broke upon hearing the news. What a wonderful brother, son, Father and friend he was. He loved to laugh and like his Dad, always had such great stories to tell. I know his reunion in Heaven with the Duke family was a joyous one. I worked with Woody at the Bridge Tender. He had an infectious smile and a loving heart. He was a friend and though we have only been fb friends of late he touched my heart. I am truly sorry for the loss of this amazing man.

Woody and I last corresponded about six weeks ago. His last remark was “ It’s the little things in life !” How true my friend . I’ll keep that thought and good memories close to my heart .

Woody was a character, always made me smile. May you live in the house of the Lord forever.
