She was the kindest and most loved person at Meadow School. She made sure everyone felt welcomed and did so much for our students, parents and staff. She will be remembered for all the good she gave to her family and community. My heart and prayers to her family.

Sagrario “Chayo” Mendoza falleció pacíficamente el viernes 17 de octubre de 2025, rodeada de su amorosa familia. Nació en Tamazula, Jalisco, México, el 6 de septiembre de 1949, y tenía 76 años de edad.
Chayo deja con cariño a sus hijos Freddy, Sammy, Jerardo, Griselda y Reyes; y a sus queridos nietos Isabella, Sophia, Jr., Haven, Izel, Cataleya, Marissa, Apollo, Lucian, Lorenzo y Catia.
Residente de Petaluma por 41 años, Chayo trabajó para el Distrito Escolar de Petaluma y participó activamente en las escuelas y actividades comunitarias de sus hijos. Era conocida por su espíritu vibrante, su amor por la música—especialmente el mariachi—y su gusto por una buena celebración, acompañada de sus cervezas Corona, tequila y muchas risas. El hogar de Chayo siempre estuvo abierto a familiares y amigos, un lugar lleno de calidez, comida y alegría. Sobre todo, fue una madre y abuela dedicada; sus hijos y nietos eran el centro de su mundo.
Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a asistir a la velación el martes 28 de octubre de 2025, de 1:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. en Adobe Creek Funeral Home, 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma. La velación continuará a las 5:00 p.m. en la Iglesia St. Vincent de Paul, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma, donde se llevará a cabo un Servicio de Vigilia a las 6:00 p.m.
La Misa Fúnebre se celebrará el miércoles 29 de octubre de 2025, a las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia St. Vincent de Paul, seguida del sepelio en el Cementerio Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Avenue, Petaluma.

Sagrario “Rosie” Mendoza passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico on September 6, 1949, and was 76 years old.
Rosie is lovingly survived by her children Freddy, Sammy, Jerardo, Griselda, and Reyes; and by her cherished grandchildren Isabella, Sophia, Jr., Haven, Izel, Cataleya, Marissa, Apollo, Lucian, Lorenzo, and Catia.
A resident of Petaluma for 41 years, Rosie worked for the Petaluma School District and was actively involved in her children’s schools and community. She was known for her vibrant spirit, love of music—especially Mariachi—and her fondness for a good celebration, complete with her favorite Coronas, Tequila, and laughter. Rosie’s home was always open to family and friends, a place filled with warmth, food, and joy. Above all, she was devoted to her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Adobe Creek Funeral Home, 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma. The visitation will continue at 5:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma, where a Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, followed by interment at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Avenue, Petaluma.
