Not sure what to say?

So very sorry for your loss. Keebo always greeted me with a smile, hug and called me sis. He was always so kind and welcoming to me at family events. My heart breaks for Theresa, Dottie, Mike, Kevin, Brad,Dougie and the entire family. I will cherish all the memories of him, Elsie and Tommy.
What a loss. May he rest in peace and love.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. So very sorry to hear about Keebo’s passing. We (Bubba & Me) certainly had good times in the past best memories ever ❤

A wonderful friend , a huge heart, kind and a great person. Fond memories will never fade away !

My deepest condolences to Keith’s entire family and his circle of friends, including our GHS Class of 1974. I am so thankful Keith was able to join us last year for our 50th class reunion. He had a great evening.

The dame family,

Sorry for the passing of keebo. Such a friendly guy who would do anything for you. Lots of memories from the softball field. Prayers to the family

Samuel's Obituary

Samuel Keith Dame, (Kebo), 70, passed away on November 18, 2025, with his family by his side at VCU.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy (T.E.) and Elsie Dame of Naxera. He is survived by his sisters, Dottie Hogge (Corky), Theresa Bradshaw (Gerald); brothers Mike Dame (Kaye), Kevin Dame (Susan), and Brad Dame; and Doug Leckey (Brendi), Cheryl Dame Slavnik; plus, many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He graduated from Gloucester High School in 1974 and from Virginia Wesleyan College where he played baseball.

He was a well-sought after Class A contractor who was meticulous in his work.

He loved fishing, crabbing, hunting, softball, baseball, and family. He grew a very large garden so he could share with many. He loved to listen and dance to beach music. And boy did he have “special dance moves.” He was also known for his 35-45 mph speed limit. He was a member of Severn Church in Naxera.

Keith will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be on January 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Abingdon Ruritan Club in Bena. Come prepared to share memories. Andrews Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
