Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace Sam, it was my pleasure to know such a kind and happy person, no matter the circumstances. You will be missed. Not so merry, Mary

RIP Mr. Parsons. I will also remember your big smile & kindness. The Colliers were blessed to be your neighbors on Letitia Ln.
My love & sympathy to all,
Terri Collier Martin

Sam will be missed because his smile and personality would light up a room.

Carl Wayne Wesley, Drummer, 22 Park Avenue

It's hard to say goodbye to someone from the old neighborhood. I still remember when Sam's girls came to babysit my girls so that Sam and I could go to Lansdowne Symphony rehearsals together. After we both moved, I enjoyed catching up with him at Rose Tree Park. I'll miss him!

A wonderful man, as all who knew him will agree. Will remember him always for his humor, his music and his being helpful to all who were in need

Miss my trombone buddy---about 25 years ago, when I was experimenting with various mouthpieces, he said "here, try one of mine". And when I liked it, he said "Keep it, it's yours now".....to this day, it is still my favorite mouthpiece for playing jazz trombone!! I have lost a very dear, long-time friend.

I joined the Chester County Concert Band over 18 years ago. I sat next to Sam, and he took me under his wing and helped me to assimilate into the band. Sam and I always shook hands after each concert, and he never failed to make me, and the other members of the trombone section, laugh. We will miss our friend, Sam, tremendously. Rest in peace, Sammy.

I first met Sam as member of the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra. I asked him if he might like to join the Chester County Concert Band, of which I was also a member. He joined the CCCB in 1992, and in addition to being a fabulous member of the trombone section, he also held leadership positions in the band. Sam always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He will be greatly missed in the Chester County Concert Band!
