Samuel (Sonny) C. Turoni of Exeter passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, in Exeter. He was the husband of the late Shirley Saunders Turoni.Born Oct. 5, 1926, in Pittston, he was a son of the late Raymond Terrana and Mary LaBrutto Terrana. He was a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 1944.He worked for Owens-Illinois for 35 years. He bought Sonny's Vending in 1970.He was a member of the Sera DeFalco Society of Pittston.Surviving are his daughters, Linda Butera, Exeter; Margaret and husband, Paul Regis, Exeter; Bonnie and husband, Richard Terran, West Pittston; Cathy and Leonard Mickavicz, Taylor; and Maria Sanguedolce, Plains Township; Grandsons, Scott Mickavicz, Adam Turoni, Michael Butera, Richard Terran and PJ Regis; Granddaughters, Laura Campbell, Justina Butera, Samantha Mickavicz, Nicole Turoni, Amanda Turoni, Genelle Sedon, Erica Hivish, Shari Terran, Stacie Terran and Melissa Regis-Maholchick; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Connie Dellario, Lucille Calabrese, Rosie Migliosi and Angie Gill; and Sister In Law Rosie Turoni; Daughter-in-law, Christine VangarelliHe was preceded in death, in addition to his parents and wife, by his son, Samuel Turoni; granddaughter, Linda Butera; brothers, Raymond Turoni and Jerome Terrana; and sisters, Fedila Giuliano and Mary Ann Grandteed.Funeral services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.
