May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. This certainly was a wonderful description of a beautiful life. Know that you are in our thoughts as we ask for peace and comfort for you.

I only knew Sandra through her husband who I know loved her deeply. May God hold her family as He brings her home to Heaven. Know that David and I are praying for you all.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I only knew Miss Sandra for a short time. I don't normally let my patients affect me so, but she is one I will miss. She was a pure soul and a joy to know. She was always sweet and smiling and I loved chatting with her the short few minutes I would see her. I was devastated to learn she had passed. I loved her and will definitely remember her.

I loved her laugh. I can still hear it.
She was a great person and will be missed.

Obituary

Sandra's Obituary

Sandra Kay Fancher Crampton passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born May 10, 1948 in Wichita Falls to Ervin and Lois Fancher.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at FBC Holliday with Rev. Clint Sissom officiating.  Interment will follow at Holliday Cemetery.

She was in the first graduating class of Hirschi High School. She worked at Kress’s and Parker Square Bank before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker to her two daughters and later, four grandchildren.

She never made acquaintances, only life-long friends. She always had a smile on her face, and would laugh at jokes even if they weren’t funny, and her laughs were infectious and contagious. She was the walking, laughing cliche of lighting up a room and could make a simpleton feel like a King of Comedy. She loved to travel with friends and experience life to its fullest.

She met the love of her life, Freddie, when she was 17. Her words sum it up best, when she told him that he has given her a better life than she could have ever dreamed of having. They were going to celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary on March 31.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Betty Shelton.

She is survived by her loving husband Freddie Crampton, her two daughters Shelley and Kelly Crampton, her grandchildren Holden and Gracie Stubblefield, and Caymen and Chloe Smith, her sister Janie Martin, as well as 5 nephews, Cleatius, David, and Mark Copeland, Carl and Mike Martin and 1 niece, Kimberly Helig.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Holliday Senior Citizens Center, P.O.Box 992 and Holliday Cemetery Association, P.O.Box 716, Holliday,Tx 76366.
