Not sure what to say?

Aunt Sandy. I will miss everything! I will love you forever!

When I moved year 9 to teaching at the High School, Sandy was a GREAT resource and a calming voice of reason. Her lunch always had inter-cut oranges and taffy apples...meticulously piled up.......and always a great conversationalist! Thank you for always being there for kids and staff alike! You will be missed.

Ms. Leeney was one of the best math teachers I had at Highland High School (Class of '92). She always wanted every student to understand what she was teaching. She enhanced my love for math and is one of the reasons I earned a BS in Mathematics, teaching math for 8 years before becoming a guidance counselor. I am forever grateful to have had her at HHS.

Ms. Leeney was one of the hardest working teachers I have ever had. I cannot recall her taking a single day off from our High School Calculus class. She strived to have every student understand the lesson. She graded our homework and tests by hand making sure we received the grades we deserved. Because of her I had an easier time in College Math classes. I am grateful to have had her as an instructor. May she rest in paradise.

She was my teacher in the 80s. She was excellent and i still remember her teaching concepts like sin(theta) = opposite / hypotenuse.

My deepest sympathy to Sandy's family. Though we were in different departments, I had to opportunity to work with Sandy on the School Improvement Committee for several years. She was professional yet I always enjoyed her sense of humor. I know for a fact that she was truly dedicated to the students of Highland High School.

Ms Leeney was a wonderful teacher at highland high school. I´m a custodian there that had the privilege of knowing her kindness. Always acknowledged us when we cross paths. May she rest in peace.

Sandy was a most wonderful person to know.....there were so many sides to her interests ...she was so kind and sharing, made sure her mother, Bobbie never needed for anything and was always secure. In return, in the last several years, Sandy was lucky to have a wonderful friend and 'sister' , Carol, who made sure she was not lonely, got to go to all her appointments, kept up with old friends, and was never left out of holidays!
