Dear Steinfeldt Family: We are so sorry for the passing of your beautiful Mother. She was as you had wonderfully put in her obituary of being a kind, selfless, loving friend to all. She was such a dear friend to us. We have really missed her since she moved from our ward. May God bless and comfort you at this time of sorrow. Love Joe and Becky Christensen

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Steinfeldt, a devoted wife, mother, and cherished friend. Sandra was born in Salt Lake City on January 12, 1948, to Oris and Lucille Atkinson. Sandra's life was a testament to faith, love, and selfless devotion, characterized by her enduring partnership with her beloved husband, Paul, whom she married on August 23, 1966, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they built a life grounded in sacrifice, forgiveness, and selflessness, dedicating nearly 30 beautiful years to raising their eight children. Sandra found her independence and joy in various jobs throughout her life, where she not only contributed her skills but also cultivated lasting friendships. Her work was a life dedicated to others, and she cherished the connections she made. Her heart was deeply rooted in family, and she had an extraordinary passion for family history. Sandra dedicated countless hours volunteering at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, where her efforts echoed her love for her heritage and her desire to connect generations. A talented crocheter, Sandra lovingly crafted countless items, each one a quiet expression of her care and selfless sacrifice. Her artistry was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, always giving and never expecting in return. Sandra was driven by the things she loved, including her avid love for reading. She found delight in the worlds within books, which fueled her imagination and joy. Her love for dancing, socializing, and sharing laughter brought warmth and energy to every gathering. Her genuine enjoyment of people was evident in her ability to light up a room with her presence. Her life was a beautiful example of quiet dedication, perseverance, and unconditional love. Sandra will be remembered for living a life without negativity or complaint, always lifting others—often without recognition. Her legacy is one of gentle strengths and enduring grace, qualities that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra Steinfeldt's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will endure through generations. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all she touched. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Paul Jr.; daughter Diona; and brothers David and Michael. She leaves behind seven children, Treassa (Bob), Vincent, Tonya (Gary), Victor (Melissa), Anthony (Eleshia), Andrea (Martin), Matthew (Amber); one sibling Chuck; 31 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
