My condolences to Sandy's family for the passing of this wonderful spirit, as well as incredible artist. We were in Creative Writing together. Her writing was brilliant, as well as her incredible spirit. I am so sorry not only for your loss, but the world's loss as well.

Sandy was a friend and a student in two of my writing classes for several years. She shared with her classmates and myself some of the wonderful pieces later included in her terrific book, Unveiled Voices, along with other fiction and memories. She never failed to inspire and delight us, her appreciative audience. My heart goes out to her family and other friends. May her beautiful spirit and loving presence live on in our memories.
