Sara Grace Nobles Miles Hucks (91) passed peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Marion, SC.
Sara Grace was an amazing cook and seamstress who loved working in her yard and all things related to her family. You would catch her singing hymns at all times of the day. She loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandchild, and followed their accomplishments with much pride.
She is survived by husband, Simon Hucks; sister, Christine Hughes; four children: Alan (Diane) of Chesapeake, VA, Ronnie (Robin) of Hanahan, SC, Curtis “Tony” (Bootsie) of Aynor, SC, and Robin, of Atlanta, GA; plus, nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by Doris, Katherine, Wendell, and William Nobles (siblings); Kyle Thomas Clock (great grandchild), Faye Miles (daughter-in-law), and Curtis Miles (her former husband of 39 years).
Born on January 19, 1934. Latta, SC (Dillon County) to Liston and Pearl Nobles, Sara Grace was a lifelong resident of Marion. She attended Rains Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation is on Monday, July 7 from 2-3 pm followed immediately by funeral services at Cox-Collins Funeral Home, Mullins. Internment services will be held at Red Hill Memorial Gardens.
