Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the family of Mrs Mathew’s. A good friend and memories will be forever in my mind.

To the Family of Loretta Matthews,
On behalf of the Greater Petersburg Area Alumni Association of Virginia State University, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
Laureta was more than just our Financial Secretary; she was a pillar of strength, a dedicated leader, and a true embodiment of the Trojan spirit. Her years of selfless service and unwavering commitment to the chapter of VSU AA GPAAA have left an indelible mark on our community and the university she loved...

Mrs. Matthews was a delightful lady and I will miss her kindness, humor, love and smile. Her sparkling spirit will live on in her family whom she loved deeply. I will continue to pray that God gives her family the strength and grace needed to sustain them at this time and in the days ahead. ❤

To the family of Ms. Matthews
May GOD keep each of you in his loving care and give you his comfort. Ms. Matthews taught me at Carter G. Woodson High School in Hopewell, VA.
She taught Health, Physical Education, Biology and trained us for the majorette
Quad. She made learning interesting and fun. We are so thankful to have had such a versatile teacher as Ms. Matthews.
Rev. Sylvia E. Jones

May the peace, love, joy and comfort that only God can give be with you in the Homegoing of your Mother and Family. Mrs. Matthews spoke very fondly about her two daughters who took great care of her. Prayers and Condolences, Reverend and Mrs Michael E. Shannon, Sr.

Cassandra and family. May the Love of God sustain you,the peace of God be with you and the promise of God comfort you during this time of sorrow.

Lauretta, you will always be remembered with ❤, my pew partner and friend.

I was fortunate to have Mrs. Matthews as a science teacher in junior high school. She use to let three or four of her female students come to her house just before the Christmas holiday to put up her Christmas tree. Then she would feed us lunch (hot dogs and chips which we loved). Next, we would spend some time talking and laughing before our parents picked us up to go home. Memories that I hold on to.
Peace and blessings to her loved ones as you travel through this period of grief.

Cassandra and Yvonne,
We extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
We are eternally grateful for the gift of your Mother's presence in our lives.
Your Mom was a remarkable person.
We will cherish her memory.
We are praying for your peace and comfort.
