So sorry! Our heart breaks over this tragedy. Our whole community is heartbroken in every corner of life nothing but sorry over this horrible lose. Continued Prayers for comfort and rest.

The world lost a beautiful soul, and a hospital lost a wonderful nurse. Sending prayers for the family.

This is so very sad. I knew Sara when she was young and would visit Ohio with her grandmother, Marva. She would bring my granddaughter clothes that she loved. My condolences to the family..❤

Sara's Obituary

Sara Lea Nix, age 28, of Bradley, Arkansas awoke in Heaven on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Sara was born on August 3, 1997, to James and Rhonda Stephens in Bossier City, Louisiana. Sara was a pageant director, loved doing crafts and shopping. She enjoyed barrel racing, camping and just being with her babies. Sara was well known to be the “best labor and delivery nurse” you could ask for. 

Sara entered the Heavenly Gates with her daughter, Raylea Chandler Nix. Preceding Sara in death are her grandparents, Clarence and Evelyn Stephens, and Sonny Johnson. Great grandparents William and Betty Isaacs; Uncles Randy Stephens, Terry Stephens and Darren Stephens.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Cody Nix, mother, Rhonda Morris of Bradley, AR; father, James Roy Stephens (Melissa) of Magnolia, AR; grandmother, Marva Johnson of Bradley, AR; son, Camden Ray Nix of Bradley, AR; daughter, Kennadi Paige Wiese of Sarepta, LA; brother, Dustin Pearson (Amber) of Emerson, AR; sisters, Amanda Dwyer (Steve) of Fouke, AR and Danielle Davis (Toby) of Taylor, AR; in-laws, Kristy and JD Lockey; nieces and nephews, Madison and Lily Davis, Zayden Stephens, Zayda Serwuschok, Braxtyn Sunberg and Madison Dwyer; Uncles Robert Olup, Bradford Janeczko, Timothy Cooksie, Bobby Stephens, Scott Stephens Jeff Stephens and Marcus Stephens; Aunts, Cathy Simonton, Audrey Wilkerson and numerous cousins in Arkansas and Ohio.

Honoring Sara as pallbearers are Cody Nix, Dustin Pearson, J D Lockey, Hunter Downs, Robert Matt Stephens, Will Stephens and Slade Lockey.

A visitation will be held Tuesday October 21, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The Baptist Church Of Bradley in Bradley, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday October 22, 2025  at The Baptist Church Of Bradley in Bradley, Arkansas with Bro. Jared Pickett officiating. Interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Bradley, Arkansas. 

Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
