Sarah May Dimko

Sarah May Dimko, age 86, of Salem, died Tuesday evening, July 8, 2014 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1927 in Salem, daughter of the late Harvey and Ava (Groves) Lottman.Sarah attended Salem High School, had been employed at Church Budget for many years and had also worked as a bartender. She was a member of the Salem V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, was a great book reader and enjoyed spending time with children.Her husband, John Dimko, whom she married July 7, 1962, preceded her in death in 1995. A sister, Nellie Hoopes and two brothers, Jack and Larry Lottman also preceded her in death.A sister-in-law, Pat Lottman; her friend, Elizabeth Sweely; and several nieces and nephews survive her.Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Rowley officiating.
