Scott Forest Kindra, 73, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. Born on June 7, 1952, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Scott was the fourth of seven children of the late John and Nancy Kindra. Scott was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Julie Lynne Weber, and his sisters, Candace Broucher and Margaret Luchtman. He is survived by his brothers, John Kindra (Jacqueline), Steven Kindra (Martha), and William Kindra (Jane); his sister, Carol Spinweber (David); and many nieces and nephews who will remember him with love and admiration. Scott graduated from the University of Michigan School of Architecture in 1976, launching a lifelong career grounded in design, craftsmanship, and problem-solving. He began his professional journey in Decatur, Illinois, where he developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful design and the art of building. He later transitioned into construction management, working on a range of mid-sized projects throughout Michigan-including Ann Arbor and Muskegon-where he gained invaluable hands-on experience and earned a reputation as a highly respected builder and leader. After seven years in Michigan, Scott made his home in Denver, where he met Julie and built both a life and a career centered on residential construction and renovation. His early experiences shaped him into a true craftsman and defined the thoughtful, detail-oriented approach he brought to every project. Clients knew him not just as a builder, but as a trusted artisan. Outside of his professional life, Scott embraced adventure and cherished his friendships. He was an avid international scuba diver and outdoorsman. Together, Scott and Julie shared a deep love for dogs, breeding golden retrievers and often filling their home with multiple generations of their beloved pets. Services: Private service and interment. Scott will be laid to rest alongside his wife, Julie, at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
