The news of Sean's loss is heartbreaking. Please know that his friends in Charlottesville and I are thinking of you, and that there is boundless love and prayer being offered for your family from Virginia, too.

The short time we knew Sean is an incredible giftI know you know what a gift he was, and we will always be grateful. Growing and learning and to expand and absorb the love and support.

Sean's Obituaries

Curtis, Sean P.--30, A lifelong resident of Somerville died on March 10, 2016.Sean was the adored son of Lynne (Colbert) Curtis and Samuel Curtis IV and the cherished brother of Cara and Michael Curtis (SFD). He was the devoted grandson of Joan Colbert and the late Edmund “Lefty”, the late John Colbert and his surviving wife Roberta and the late Dorothy and Samuel Curtis III and the laughing and loving uncle of Alahna and Makai Curtis. Sean was also the nephew of Jay, Kelly, Jeff Colbert, Krista, Karen, Lynne Curtis and the late Keith Curtis and the loving cousin of Dana, Connor, Mariah, Scott, Danielle, Rob, Steven, Damien, Derek and numerous extended cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. Sean had a quick wit, loads of charm, a contagious laugh, and a disarming smile. He was humble, kind hearted, and a loyal friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all as he joins his great friends and family who have gone before him. The funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville on Wednesday morning, March 16, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Genoa Church in Somerville at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 15, from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody. If you wish, donations may be made in Sean’s name to the Gavin Foundation, Inc., Development Dept. 675 East 4th St, P.O. Box E-15, South Boston, MA 02127.
