Shamar's Obituary

The funeral service for Shamar H. Bagby will be 3:00pm Wednesday, October 8th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Calling hours will precede the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00pm.

Shamar passed away Sunday, September 28th. He was 28 years old.

Born in Watertown June 27, 1997, Shamar was a son to Robert McDonald and Tomeka Bagby. He was educated locally and worked a variety of jobs in the area.

Shamar, taken from us far too soon, will always be remembered as the life of the party- a bright soul who could light up any room. With a quick wit and a warm heart, he never missed a chance to share a joke or a smile, especially when someone needed it the most. His laughter and joy live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Besides his parents, Shamar is survived by his fiancée, Brittany Couture of Watertown; his sisters, Davonna Bagby of Watertown, Aaliyah Bagby of Florida, Robmeka McDonald of Virginia; his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Bagby of Florida; his maternal great-grandmother, Mary Smith of Florida; and his uncles, Glenn Bagby of Watertown & Ronnie Bagby of Binghamton.

Shamar is predeceased by his paternal grandparents.

Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
