It is with great sadness that the family announce her passing on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the age of 42 years.
Shannon is survived by her loving partner Kenneth Baines; children, Scott, Chantelle, Kyle, Shalayne, Julissa and Julien; grandson Jeremiah; father Gailard Man Who Smokes; grandmother Mary Meatface; uncles, Brian (Dolly) Panther Bone, Quintin, Sandy and Edward Jr. Meatface; sisters, Gerri Soop, Endura and Celika Man Who Smokes; brother baby Montana Man Who Smokes and Elijah Soop. She will also be missed by numerous other relatives and friends.
Shannon is predeceased by her mother Valerie Soop; son Jace Herback; aunts, Ella Meatface and Clarice Soop; uncle Blair Meatface; grandparents Loretta and Clarence Soop and Edward Sr. Meatface.
A Memorial Service will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 – 16th Avenue N.W. (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary) on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
