Not sure what to say?

As my first cousin, she was always so sweet to me.

I moved to Las Cruces in 2002 in summer without the use of a car and could be seen peddling my bike loaded down with laundry heading for the laundromat. Then came a knock on my door from a lovely woman who welcomed me to Picacho Hills and offered me a car ride to the grocery store. That was just the first of her generosity for the next 15 years. Once she knew of my landscaping business, we began to work on turning her sandy back yard into an English Cottage Garden. Between organizing a...

I have fond memories growing up three streets away from my honorary Aunt Sherry in Southfield Michigan. She was my Mom's best friend since they were children. Aunt Sherry was always busy raising 4 kids on her own, working and doing crafts. My 2 siblings and I were similiar ages to her kids, so we were close growing up. She loved and cared for each of her wonderful children, who each grew to be each have their own families and success in life.

She always had something kind and...

Oh, the memories & love I had for Sherrymy condolences to her awesome family.

Sherry was one-of-a-kind, didn't take no for an answer and always offered a kind word, a hug and looked for the humor when life was bleak. I was Aaron's hospice nurse; they became so dear to me.

Sherry was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was instrumental in reviving the Mesilla Valley Weavers Guild and always open to helping fiber artists.

Laura, your mother had a passion for life that was inspirational to me. We fist met when my neighbors called her about my dog. From that first telephone call we were destined to be best friends. Woking with her on SNAP, her every day challenges, her investments, and meeting you and Mark were a special gift in my life. She is one of a kind and was loved by me.

So sorry to learn of Sherry's passing. I knew Sherry, and her many rescues, through the shelter and we shared lots of time together in her beautiful garden and at shelter events. I moved to the east coast a couple of years ago and unfortunately, lost contact with Sherry. Sherry's contribution to the welfare of animals will always be remembered.
