She was a beautiful and loving person.

You will be truly missed

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I love you and will miss you always.

Rest in Heavenly Peace to one of the Sweetest people I've ever known. You can now sing in that Heavenly choir and have them rejoicing up there like you had us rejoicing down here! Heaven has definitely gained a sweet angel because she was truly one down here on earth.
I extend my sincere condolences to Sharon's family, Pilgrim Rest family, DHS family and friends.

RIP CLASSMATE YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED

I am so sorry to see this name in the obituaries. I had been wondering where she was, how she was doing, etc. She worked in the office here at ANC (then MCCC) close by me. We would go to lunch together and just hang out sometimes.

My condolences to the family. May God be with all of you and give you His peace and comfort.

Obituary

Sharon's Obituary

Sharon Renee Houston, lovingly known as “Shell,” was born on December 29, 1962, to the late Annie Mae Williams and John Houston Jr. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, John B. and Louise Houston, who lovingly raised her as their own.

Sharon accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She deeply loved the Lord and expressed her faith through singing. As a proud member of the church choir, Sharon lifted her voice boldly for God. When she later moved to Texas, she shared her passion for gospel music with her niece, teaching her the songs that strengthened and encouraged her throughout life. She lived as a faithful servant and a shining example of God’s love.

Sharon graduated from Osceola High School in 1981 and went on to earn her degree from MCC

College in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was employed with the Department of Health and Human Services for the State of Arkansas, where she served her community with compassion, dedication, and integrity until her health no longer permitted.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Rodney Harris and his wife Dalesa Harris, and their children Cameron Harris and Harbor Harris; her brother Curtis Williams, his wife Gloria Williams, and their children CJ Williams and Janel Williams

Godchildren Tokeysia Bledsoe and Larry Adams Jr.;special friend Angela Bledsoe; cousin-sister Elizabeth Amerson-Hulbert; and Godmother Exie Webb.

A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have

forgotten the words. Sharon had a host of friends.

Sharon touched many lives with her warmth, her strength, and her unwavering faith. Her voice, her

love, and her beautiful spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
