Shelby's Obituary

Funeral services for Shelby King Clamon, 76, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Rice Cemetery in Leggett, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Mr. Clamon was born September 2, 1940 in Camden, Texas to parents, King David Clamon and Alice Josephine (Rice) Clamon, and passed away November 13, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he was a graduate of Leggett High School. After graduating, he proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Imogene Humberson Clamon. He is survived by his sisters, Patsy Puckett and Barbara Puckett both of Hortense, Texas, Martha Blakely and husband, Donald of Livingston, Texas, Deloris Gardner and husband, Tom of Huntsville, Texas, Carolyn Wells and husband, Charles of Livingston, Texas, and Betty Baker and husband, Kenneth of Livingston, Texas; family friend, Evelyn Lail; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
