My heart is broken. I lost the one person that I confided in and she could confide with me as well. I considered her a true friend. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. She will be missed very deeply.

Shelly Marie Netzel (Puckett), 57, Kerrick, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband, Jim by her side.
She was born on August 20, 1967 to Judith (Sundstrom) and Joseph Puckett. Shelly married her best friend Jim Netzel on January 15, 2013. Shelly was a kind, gentle soul who was always there to help everyone. She protected and cared for animals, loved to listen to music, and enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and gardening. Shelly loved visiting with family and friends and if you were at her house, she made sure everyone had a good time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, uncles, and aunts.
Shelly is survived by her loving husband: Jim Netzel; three children: Alexander, Christina (Ryan), and Anthony; bonus daughter: Naomi; brothers: David (Sherri) Puckett and Steven Puckett; grandsons: Landen, Jeremiah, and Nathaniel; granddaughters: Kaylynn and Emma; niece: Carrie; and nephews: Jarrett, Brock, Joey, and Andy.
A Celebration of Life will be at Shelly's residence, 51788 Deerfield Road Kerrick, Minnesota 55756 on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 11 AM.
