Sherry Lynn Conway (nee Simerly)

Age 76, of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. She is survived by sister-in-law, Diane Simerly, nephew, David (Jennifer) Simerly, grandniece, Delayni, niece, Dana (Julian) Gonzalez, goddaughter, Susan (Zach) Strong-Thomas, along with many cousins and an abundance of friends, especially Barb, Brenda, Kim & Steffie.  Preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Willie Simerly, and brother, Don Simerly.  

Sherry graduated from Hammond High School and worked at Inland Steel/ArcelorMittal Manufacturing Maintenance Department for 34 years and Congregation Beth Israel for 21 years.    

 Sherry found joy in tending to her garden and enjoying good food and tequila.  Whether through a kind word, a listening ear, or a welcoming smile, she enriched the lives of all who knew her.  Her memory will forever bloom in the hearts of her family and friends.

Interment will be at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Johnson City, TN and entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home.
