Hard to believe it has been a week, I miss you so much...the days are so long & meaningless without you...I keep thinking this is a nightmare & I am going to wake up...I need you here...I love you so very much my beautiful Mom <3

SHIRLEY F. CLARKSTAUNTON, VA?Shirley Jean (Fridley) Stokes Clark, 71, wife of Albert Clark, of 121 Olive Street, Apt. 1, went peacefully to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.She was born April 20, 1944, in Craigsville, a daughter of Nellie (Welcher) Fridley and the late Conley Fridley.In addition to her husband, family members include two daughters and a son-in-law, Michele and Thomas Whitlock, Sr. and Joy Bradley Stokes and her friend, Bill Reynolds; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Larry Johnson, Barbara and Carl Whitlock, Wanda and Lorne Botkin, Judy and Ricky Clifton, and Darlene and Gary Curry; five grandchildren, Thomas Whitlock, Jr., Amanda Whitlock, Jessica Bazzrea, Sarah Hoover, and Timothy Hoover, Jr.; and eight great grandchildren, Hanna, Clayton, Liam, Summer, Jackson, Lucas, Chloe, and Kendalyn. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Strickler. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015, in the funeral home.
