It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Shirley Rose Ginter, 69 from Crandon, WI. She passed peacefully into eternity at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Shirley Rose Repinski was born on April 24, 1956, in Crandon, WI to the late George and Betty (Jaeger) Repinski. She grew up and graduated from Whitewater. She was united in marriage to Dwight E Ginter on March 1, 1975. They expanded their family and had three daughters. They moved and lived in several states during their early marriage. They settled down roots in the Town of Nashville in 1991. Shirley worked several jobs in her life and retired from Bemis/Snow River after over 30 years of service in 2021. After her retirement, it was her joy to watch her grandchildren during the summers.
Shirley loved to make soaps, lotions, candles, and crafts that she would sell at craft shows. Shirley was a woman whose life was defined by hard work and quiet kindness to everyone that knew her. Family was everything to her. Her favorite time of year was Christmas where she always tried to make it special for everyone. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her husband Dwight Ginter of Crandon, three daughters, Jean Powell of Crandon (Paul Hagenkord), Amy (Shane “Bear”) Wheeler of Elcho and Crystal Janicki of Crandon. Grandchildren Brooke, Hope (Caleb), Wyatt, Harris, Greta, Anna and Gabe and great grandchildren Ava and Ella. Siblings Tom Repinski of Whitewater, Judy (Dennis) Clark of East Troy, and Brian (Alissa) Repinski of Mishicot. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings; brother Jeff Repinski and sister Linda (Repinski) Dunham, sister-in-law Jody Repinski and nephew Beau Repinski.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025. Visitation at 10 am and the celebration at 11 am at the Upper Room Church in Elcho, WI. A luncheon will follow. Please come and share stories and memories with the family.
