Not sure what to say?

My condolences to you all. Shirley was a co-worker/friend for many years in Ohio University Undergraduate Admissions. Such a friendly and nice person who was talented with a poem for the office each year and for different people. Shirley was missed in the office by many after her retirement. Sorry I could not attend the calling hours or funeral.
Prayers to her family.
Kevin Witham, Ohio University Undergraduate Admissions, Athens

Deepest sympathy to you girls and family and friends. We knew her briefly but missed her right away.

My heart is broken to know that Shirley, my sweet sister, had to suffer with this terrible disease of Dementia. I know she is with the Father and is healed. I love her so much. What a wonderful, caring and thoughtful sister she was. She looked after Beverly and me when we were little. She was beautiful inside and out and loved by many, and she loved everyone. She overcame a lot of obstacles in her lifetime and still felt undeserving of her own personal needs. She was proud, so proud of...

Words cannot express the loss of Shirley. She was one of the best people I know. She is in heaven now watching over all of us.

I am very sorry for your loss. I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Kelly I am sorry to hear about your mom she was a good neighbor to say hi

I knew Shirley from Aqua Aerobics. I always enjoyed talking with her. I am sorry for your families loss in the last few years. I am thinking of you during this difficult time.

We are so sorry for the loss of Shirley, she will be missed by many. God bless you in your time of loss.

A beautiful person and co-worker many years ago at The Athens Messenger. Will always remember her beautiful smile and gorgeous eyes. She was a light for all those that knew her. This old earth lost another wonderful person. I pray her family wrap all their wonderful memories of Shirley around themselves in their time of sorrow.
