Shirley Ann Marks

Shirley Ann Marks, 85, of Walton, passed away peacefully at home Nov 22,2025 from a long fight with Dementia.

She was born June 22, 1940, at Walton, the daughter of the late Amos ”Bo” and Martha Moore.

She was a caregiver for many years.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 67 years K.D. Marks and children Navorine Patterson and Brian (Kathy)Marks all of Walton; grandchildren, Beth Marks, Briana (Kody) Yates, Roy Jones and Lashia Kirk and great grandson, Brody Yates; brother, Larry ”Buck” Moore and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Alvin, Jake, John, and Walt Moore; sisters, Irene, Dorthy and Audrey; grandson, Douglas Jones and son-in-law, David Patterson. 

Shirley will be remembered for the unwavering love she had for her family and friends. 

There will be no services per Shirley’s request.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is assisting the family with arrangements.
