I first met Pete and Shirley when they were neighbors to Ron and my sister Carol in Oak Forest.
They were great neighbors and always got along well. They kept in touch over all these years, even when Ron and Carol moved to Missouri. Mama´s Day celebration

Shirley was a second mother to me from when I was a baby to her last day on earth. She could discipline my brothers and I as my mom could do the same with her kids. So many memories like boating at Lake of the Ozarks, a family cruise, so many wonderful get to togethers or just hanging out.

When my mom passed and after Pete passed, their eventual connecting was a joy. I could have not have wished for better!
