Sidney Alton Crouch

Sidney Alton Crouch, age 90, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

He was born in Mississippi to the late Annie Mae Bratton Crouch and Sidney Aubrey Crouch. He was a member of Turkey Foot Fork Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed all types of hunting and loved his cows.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pauline Lindley Crouch; one daughter, Annie Rachel Hardy (Joe) of Cascilla, MS; two sons, Donald “Don” Alton Crouch (Teresa) of Cascilla, MS, and Sidney “Tony” Anthony Crouch (Pamela) of Cascilla, MS; one sister, Betty Grammar of Mize, MS; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Alton Crouch (Julie), Jessica Ann Crouch Malone (Scott), Jacob Anthony Crouch (Christy), James Tyler Crouch, Joshua Wade Crouch (Morgan), Joseph Lee Hardy, Jacqueline Cheryl Hardy Buice (Rocky), and Jason Matthew Hardy; and eleven great-grandchildren, including six great-grandsons and five great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae Bratton Crouch and Sidney Aubrey Crouch; one son, Paul Guy Crouch; two sisters, Velma Crouch and Elsie Trusty; and three brothers, Charles Crouch, William Earl Crouch, and Aubrey Guy Crouch.
