Uncle Sidney I will miss you. You were my favorite uncle ever since I was a little girl when you baby sit us. I even have your picture in my senior book. I’m going to miss the phone calls, I love you and say hello to the rest of the family and that I miss them much. You complete the Evans family.

This one is tough. My mom met Sidney when I was in middle school over 30 yrs ago and then they married.
This is a great void in our lives since Sidney has passed. Though he was in pain, he still would find time to help me when I needed. Always! He was strong willed , outliving his doctors’ prognosis a decade ago! He fought til the very end. We are missing him tremendously. I miss him calling me “Slim” .
