After losing my parents last year, I found candid pictures of them traveling with the Connors and Gates all over the world. I have never seen them happier and more alive, and I know how precious and rich their friendship was. We’re so sorry for the family’s loss and so thankful for the long lives and wonderful legacies that generation has bestowed upon us. The John and Mary Lohre family

Sidney was a lady who enjoyed life; and Caleb, you did a great job of choosing her to spend your lives together. She obviously was an energetic lady as her obituary outlined. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are sent to Caleb and all the family. You have many memories to remember her with love.

I met Sid early on at Middlebury since we both were on the ski team. Our friendship continued after college. I was teaching At Carbondale. Our family had a condo at Vail so I skied there with Sid and Caleb. In the summer I hiked and golfed with Sid at Vail. She was fun to be with.we shared love of the outdoors..SB

I continued our friendship to just before she diedhiking, golfing, skiing in Vail and Denver.My family had a condo at Vail where she stayed a few times.When I was in Denver, we would get together for lunch. Luckily I have a few of her paintings in my office so I think of Sid every day. Our friendship began at Middlebury where we both were on the ski team.
