This note is to Roy & his family. I am grieved to learn about the lost of Sigifredo. I know he was a just & caring man, a man who cared for & looked after his family. Mr. Ramos sits with THE GOOD & GRACIOUS LORD now. We must all celebrate the life he lived. I have known his son Roy for over 24 years now. I count Roy as 1 of the best friends I have ever had. Sigifredo G. Ramos Sr., 93, left his earthly body on Friday morning, September 21, 2018.He was born in Linares, NL, Mexico on May 15, 1925. He came to the United States at age 14 or 15 where he quickly found employment at Harlingen Water District. He also then worked for various local Roofing companies. In the 1960's he became a U.S. Citizen. In 1963 he went to go work off shore for Great Lakes Dredging and Bean Dredging Co., where he retired from in 1986. He enjoyed his retirement by working in the outdoors on his yard and an occasional vegetable garden. He was also an animal lover. Sigifredo is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his beloved wife of 65 years, Maria G. Ramos; children, N. Alicia Martini (Tony) of Mena, AR; Nora L. Flores (Retired MSGT Felix) of Harlingen, TX; Sigifredo Ramos Jr.; Rogelio Ramos of Harlingen, TX; Nelda L. Felkey (Jason) of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Manuel Ramos of Monte Morelos, NL, Mexico; sister, Paula R. Rios of Woodburn, OR; grandchildren, Rosalie Malaer, Rolando Gonzalez, JoAnn M. Ramos, Toni D. Flores, Robert Gonzalez, Sigifredo Ramos III, Christine N. Limon, Anthony J. Gutierrez, Bobbie J. Gray, Sergio Ramos, Harley & Dylan Ramos-Emanual; 13 1/2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.Sigifredo was preceded in death by his parents, Bernardo & Narcisa Ramos; a son, Ramiro "Bobby" Ramos; and siblings, Maria R. Rosales, Rodrigo Ramos, & Oralia Ramos.Visitation will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm and continuing on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. The prayer of the Holy Rosary will be held Monday evening at 7:00 pm at Trinity Funeral Chapel.Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Trinity Funeral Chapel.Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery in San Benito.Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rogelio Ramos, Rolando Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez, Anthony J.
