Simon Hector Castillo, born October 20, 1944, in Harlingen, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2025, at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Teresa Castillo; brother, Victor Castillo; and his beloved pet dog, Marco.
He is survived by Maria C. Castillo; sons, Hector Castillo, Brian Simon Castillo and wife Opal Castillo; grandchildren, Emma M. Castillo, and Ethan B. Castillo; extended friends and family. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM rosary at Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Family and friends will meet on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM mass. Graveside service to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
