Not sure what to say?

You were a true friend and great help to me in my time of need. you will be in my heart forever'

I have so many fond memories of Simona. From early childhood to my adult years. She always lifted everyone around her with that warm smile, her amazing tortillas and sometimes a crack of a joke. She had the biggest heart. Sometimes after church service she would stop by for a cup of coffee and we would chat for a while. I remember how nice she always looked- she was no doubt a classy lady. I was always amazed at her strength and determination as a mom raising her children, devoted and...

Simona was the best friend a person could have. We met at Benzie County Dept of Social Services in 1979 and became fast friends. I was always inspired by her incredible patience with our clients, some of whom were disagreeable due to their unfortunate circumstances. Simona was never judgmental or unkind.

Simona took great joy in feeding others. She brought breakfast tacos to the staff regularly and we all swarmed around her to get that tasty treat.

I feel blessed that...

Thank u Mona for being such a wonderful and caring close family friend all these year's! U will be deeply missed by so many dear friend! Thoughts and prayers to all ur family and friends! ❤

I will miss you my beloved Mona my cherished Cousin love Diane

She was my childhood tia, although we were related by blood, we were still family. I remember all the times seeing her smiling face and laughter when we would stroll into the office at DSS to see my mom. I also remember when the families would get-together. And the food that was cooked up! Oh my! Even though some of us have moved miles apart, those memories will always stay in my heart.
Rest now Tia Simona and let your wings carry and lift you!

Tía Mona, you were the light of my childhood. The memories will never go away. I love you deeply always and forever. Rest Tia, you lived a beautiful life. We will miss you tremendously
