Sister Patricia was a friend of my mother's--they went to Nursing School at Salem Hospital together, back in the 40's. Although they took different paths, they kept in touch, and when My mother died in 1993, I reached out to let Sister Patricia know, and she and I became correspondents. I visited her at the monastery in Rhode Island when I was back east. Sister Pat was a fun person, full of joie de vivre. She would regale me with stories of the pranks she and my mother would pull on...

We have lost our family historian! We enjoyed Sr. Patricia’s visits when she came to New Hampshire. She was always interested in all family members. Her memory was incredible!
