Son.. this is so hard to say goodbye to you.. you made my daughter and my granddaughter so happy.. u was such a good daddy.. you are such a good husband you was such a good friend u was such a good son .. I cannot believe this is really happening.. I'm trying to be strong for my daughter.. she's never going to live again like she loves you ever in life I know that you always just meant to be together.. you are so beautiful beautiful soul... I just want to send my condolences to your family. And say that I’ve only met you and Mariah once and the love that y’all have shined so bright! I admired that. It’s crazy to get to experience a love like this. I know because I have that and to see it on someone else is amazing! You guys touched my heart! Skylor's Obituary

Skylor Ray Watkins, 34, of Durant, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 3, 1991, in Ada, the son of David and Amanda (Watkins) Forsberg.

Skylor grew up in Dibble, where he was known for getting into just about any kind of mischief he could alongside his brother, sister, cousins, and friends. He made many cherished memories playing basketball on a team coached by his Papa, and he shared a deep love and admiration for both his Grandma and Papa.

In his late teens, Skylor moved to Moore, where he met the love of his life, Mariah. The two remained inseparable through life’s challenges and joys, and in 2016 they welcomed their greatest pride and joy, their beautiful daughter, Aurora. Skylor and his young family later made their home in Durant, where he took great pride in his work and in being part of the dedicated team at Tubacex.

Skylor is survived by his wife, Mariah Deelayne Prestriedge of Durant; his daughter, Aurora Kay Watkins; his parents, David and Amanda Forsberg of Coleman; his brother, Dillon Johnson of Moore; his sister, Sierra Comstock and fiancé Jonathon Dillon of Calera; step-brother; Matthew Lira of Skiatook; his maternal grandparents, Bonnie and Jerry Watkins of Dibble; his uncle, Dewayne Watkins of Blanchard; his aunt, Becky Floyd of Coleman; aunt; Trina Anderson of Mustang; his nephew, Tylen Johnson; his niece, Lorelai Dillon; and his cousins, Ashley Martin, Kayla Taylor, and Amber Watkins.

Viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow at Blanchard Cemetery.
