I was just now told of Sonny’s passing. I am Nancy Simpson’s daughter, Dawn. I am so very sorry for your loss. Sonny was such an awesome guy and will truly be missed.

He was a super good friend for many years. We had numerous fun times and days together, especially when we worked the beer booth at the Street Fair. Remembering all the fun times when we made the circuit between the VFW, Post 7, Post 74 and the American Legion by the railroad tracks. He had a great sense of humor and a winning smile. We always contacted each other on our birthdays no matter where we were at. Will miss doing that this year on November 1st. Rest in peace Sonny.
