Stacy I'm really gonna miss you. Sitting out there. On your porch,... that's how we knew that the mail had runned when we see you on the porch and if you had gone inside we knew that the mail lady had came and gone. I thought that you were so funny. Stacy Laverne Stone was born on January 25, 1974, to Linda Harris and George Ward in Wheeler County in the Glenwood Hospital. On December 30, 2025, she departed this world.
She was educated in the Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of the Class of 1993. She later married Dwellie Stone of Soperton, Georgia.
She always liked attending Lee Williams and the Spiritual QCs concerts. She was a caring and giving person who never met a stranger. She loved talking to everyone. Stacy's faith in God was strong, and she always encouraged her mother and Aunt Teresa to pray.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, George Ward; her grandparents, Arthur Lee and Maziel Harris, and Beaur and Essie Mae Ward; her uncles, Arthur Lee Harris Jr. and Frank Mike Hill; and her aunts, Thelma Harris and Flossie Mae Hill.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Linda Harris; her aunts, Teresa Harris, Mae Harris, Carolyn Harris, Marcella Harris, and Marie Harris; her uncles, Glen Harris and Donnell Harris; along with a host of cousins and friends, including Toinette Brazell and Rosemary Bell.
She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
