Trenton - Mr. Stanley H. Needell, 88, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at home. Mr. Needell was born in Newark, and grew up in Rahway and lived in Trenton for the past 50 years. He was a Rahway High School Graduate, a 1953 Syracuse University Graduate, Stanley received his law degree from Rutgers University. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran. Later he was a Lieutenant Colonel for the Civil Air Patrol of NJ. Stanley was a NJ License Attorney practicing for over 50 years in Trenton. He was the Managing Partner of Lewis, Seigel and Needell Attorneys at Law in Trenton finishing his career with Needell & Castellani Attorneys at Law. Stanley was a past member of the Mercer County Bar Association. He enjoy many happy years of jogging with his colleague and friend Charles J. Casale, he loved to Ski and was avid reader, music and singing. Stanley was a member of the Bonton Repertoire Company of Mercer County.
Mr. Needell is predeceased by his mother and father, Judge David Needell and his wife Sarah. He is survived by his wife of 43 Cyntia A (nee Hennessy) Needell, a daughter Andrea Needell- Matellian and her husband Guy, three sons, Russell and his wife Wanda Needell, William Needell and his husband Jim Denietolis and James and his wife Stacy Needell, a brother, Bejamin and his wife Kathleen Needell, a sister Sisi Riffin. Also survived by six grandchildren Marissa, Jared Katie, Abby, Maxwell and Julia.
Funeral Services will take place on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home 275 West Milton Avenue, Rahway, NJ 07065. Interment Beth Israel Cemetery, Rahway, NJ
