Was just googling people I used to know and found this. I worked with Stan at the Cafe on San Pedro from 83 to 86. Staniel (nickname given him by headwait Deedee...other people called him AWESOME) was always cool, funny, and there. Everybody who worked there in those days was young (early to mid-late 20s) and we had a great time. Stan was one of the gang. My little brother. I was about 10 when you were born and it was a joy watching you grow up. After I left home, when I came back for visits, I loved watching you in play in the band and hearing about your sports. When you worked at Mama’s, we’d stop by when you were there and I was amazed how you could so easily cook a steak to perfect doneness. My most sincerest condolences to the Kunath family for this big loss. Stan you will be missed by many. You will always be part of our family. Thank you for our most precious gift, Marigrace, my beautiful niece.

I regret not having the opportunity to meet Stanley in person but have felt I knew him through the loving memories shared with me by his sister Cindy.
