I only just heard of Stan's passing. I worked with Stan and always appreciated his expertise and fantastic sense of humor. My sincere condolences to his family.

My memories of Stan, or "Stannie" as we called him, include 1962 when his Dad played baseball with the Honolulu Islanders. He and his younger brother, Stevie, loved to play on the beach at Alamouana. He and his brother had the entire stadium chanting "Hit me a home run Daddy," each time he got up to bat. And he did hit a number of homeruns over the years. What a great guy, I worked with Stan when her started out at DEI, he was an amazing engineer and an awesome friend to everyone he met.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Palys family. The loss of such a young talented, smart man, father, son, brother, uncle & friend with such a zest for life who shared his unique personality with many. His left an indelible mark of memories. May his spirit have a special place forever in our hearts.

Ally sending our sincere condolences and prayers for your family. Stan was a dorm mate of ours back at Virginia Tech. “Stan the Man” was truly a special person. So many great memories to relive.
