Sorry to hear about Staley's passing. I knew him from our days working at International Harvester in Melrose park IL. My condolences to his family. I just found out about it today.

What a beautiful and wonderful life and family. He is certainly missed by everyone in his life and the impact he made has been truly profound. May your family find solace and comfort in the wonderful memories you have made. Blessings and peace, love always.

Stanley's Obituary

Stanley F. Suchocki, age 92, of Lake Carroll, IL, formerly of Brookfield, IL passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 29, 1932 to the late Stanley and Alice (Maslowski) Suchocki. Stanley married Phyllis Slepicka on May 31, 1958 in Berwyn, IL.

He was a Graduate of St. Rita’s High School in Chicago. Stanley served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a sales parts manager for several years before retiring to Lake Carroll. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Shannon. He was also a member of the Lake Carroll Fishing Club. Stanley enjoyed birdwatching, bowling and golfing. 

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Suchocki of Lake Carroll; his children, Christine (Paul) Brouillette, David (Dina) Suchocki, Stephen Suchocki and Carol Runyan; and his two grandchildren, Sara Runyan and Catherine Suchocki. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas (Emily) Suchocki.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Shannon at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery in Shannon. A memorial fund has been established.
