Stavroula “Stella” D. Katsikas, 94, of Manchester, NH, died July 11, 2022, after a period of declining health.
Born in Trapezitsa, Greece on May 13, 1928, she was the daughter of Demetrios and Sultana Furgatsiotis. She emigrated from Greece in 1953 and resided in the Queen City most of her life.
Stella was a loving and dedicated homemaker. She also operated Nick Katsikas Farm Products alongside her husband for many years. She enjoyed days filled with tasks and simple joys of life and service to her family, friends, and customers.
Devoted to her faith, Stella was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
Her family was the focus of her life. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and joy. She was proud of her Greek heritage and enjoyed celebrating Hellenic traditions and customs with her family. May Her Memory Be Eternal.
She was married to her beloved husband forty-eight years, Nicholas C. Katsikas. He died July 20, 2002. She also predeceased by a daughter, Susan Katsikas.
Family members include a daughter, Christina N.V. Katsikas of Manchester; a son, Christopher Katsikas of Manchester; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Brittany Katsikas.
Services: A graveside service will be held, Thursday, July, 14, 2022 at 12:30 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH with the Rev. Fr. Michael Wilson officiating. Please meet at the North Gate at 12:15 PM.
