Stephen's Obituary

Stephen A. Cherry, aged 59, resident of Pulaski for the past 22 years, previously of Saratoga, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Stephen was born July 24, 1955. He graduated from North Kingstown High School in Rhode Island, and Rhode Island Junior College. He was married to Cynthia Pike on October 12, 1980. Stephen was employed by Banctec in Syracuse for 20 years, retiring in 2004.Surviving are his wife, Cynthia, two daughters Stephanie (Ray) Murtha of Gloversville and Rhonda (Jerry) Vanorman of Gouverneur, one son, Derek Armstrong of Pulaski, two sisters, Cynthia (Ken) Gleason of Watertown and Candice (Neil) LaGrow of Cadiz, KY, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Stephen was predeceased by his sister Belinda Cherry and brother Rick Cherry.Funeral Services will be held at noon, Saturday, October 4, at the Foster- Hax Funeral Home,52 Park Street in Pulaski. A calling hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral.
